PVC Bathroom Panels - Marble Finish
A grout-free alternative to bathroom tiles
PVC bathroom panels cover walls with large waterproof sheets in marble, stone and plain finishes, with no grout lines to stain or grow mold. That makes them easier to clean and maintain than tiled walls, especially in busy family bathrooms.
Installation is faster and cleaner than tiling, and in many cases panels can be fitted directly over existing tiles, which means less demolition, less dust and a quicker finished bathroom.

PVC bathroom panels vs other bathroom walls
Short version: bathrooms are where grout goes to die. PVC panels give you a seamless, grout-free wall that shrugs off water, which is exactly what a humid UAE bathroom needs. Here is how they compare to the alternatives.
PVC bathroom panels (this page)
Large waterproof panels with marble, stone, or solid finishes, sealed at the joints. No grout lines to scrub or redo, a fully waterproof surface, and lighter and faster to install than tiling. Made for the wettest room in the house.
Ceramic / porcelain tiles
The classic bathroom wall: hard-wearing and endlessly varied. But grout lines stain and eventually need redoing, installation is dusty and slow, and fixing mistakes means chiseling tiles off the wall.
Waterproof bathroom paint
The quick cosmetic fix: paint formulated for humid rooms. Fine for low-splash areas, but it is still paint on plaster, not for inside shower zones, and it needs redoing far sooner than panels or tiles do.
Gloss PVC / acrylic sheets
The glossy sibling: a similar waterproof idea with a high-gloss finish. Sheets suit feature areas and kitchens; bathroom panels are the satin, purpose-built version with bathroom-specific joint sealing for wet zones.
Renovating around existing tiles or starting fresh? That choice changes the prep completely. Send bathroom photos on WhatsApp and we will tell you which route your bathroom suits, or book a visit for a proper look.
How to choose PVC bathroom panels in the UAE
A bathroom panel lives in the hardest room in the house: steam, splashes, and heat, every single day. These are the things we check ourselves before recommending any panel for a bathroom.
Waterproof, not just water-resistant
Bathrooms need fully waterproof panels, not merely water-resistant ones. Check that the panel core itself does not absorb water, because a water-resistant surface coating alone is not enough where steam and splashes are daily events.
Shower zone versus dry zone
Inside the shower enclosure, panels need full joint sealing and the right adhesive system; outside it, standard fixing is fine. Tell us the layout honestly, including where the shower actually sprays, and we will specify the installation accordingly.
Over tiles or strip them
Panels often fix straight over sound existing tiles, skipping demolition dust and days of labor. Hollow or loose tiles get dealt with first. We tap-test the walls on the visit; it takes minutes and it decides the preparation.
Ventilation matters as much as panels
UAE bathrooms run humid, and even waterproof walls cannot fix stale, damp air. An extractor fan that actually gets used, or an open-window habit, prevents mold on ceilings and sealant lines. Panels plus ventilation is the combination that stays fresh.
Finish and light
Bathroom lighting is usually harsh and top-down; glossy finishes amplify it while satin and matt finishes calm it. Marble-look prints are the popular choice, but check the print scale against your bathroom size: huge veining can overwhelm a compact guest bath.
Sealing around sanitaryware
Where panels meet baths, basins, and WCs, the sealant line does the waterproofing. It should be neat, continuous, and a proper sanitary-grade product. Ask who does the sealing and with what; it is a small detail with an outsized job.
Doing the kitchen backsplash in the same project? PVC and acrylic sheets are the glossy counterpart for kitchens. Questions on either, message us on WhatsApp.
Living with PVC bathroom panels in a UAE home
The best thing about panels is what you stop doing: scrubbing grout. The rest of the routine is simple.
No grout, no grout scrubbing
The daily win: a quick wipe-down keeps panel walls clean, because there are no grout lines trapping soap scum. A squeegee after showers on the wettest wall keeps everything fresher for longer with almost no effort.
Mild cleaners only
Warm water and a mild bathroom cleaner handle everything. Avoid abrasive powders and scouring pads, which dull the finish, and go easy on bleach: occasional diluted use is fine, but habitual strong bleach is not kind to sealants.
Watch the sealant lines
Silicone seals where panels meet sanitaryware do the quiet waterproofing work. A glance every few months catches any shrinkage early. Resealing a line is minor maintenance; ignoring a failed seal is how water gets behind panels.
Ventilate, always
Run the extractor during and after showers, or open the window. Panels themselves do not absorb moisture, but ceilings, mirrors, and metal fittings do, and mold anywhere makes the whole bathroom feel unclean.
More bathroom panel questions, answered honestly
Can panels go over my existing tiles? +
Usually yes, and it is one of the main reasons people choose them: no demolition, no dust, no debris. The tiles need to be sound and firmly fixed; we tap-test every wall on the visit. Loose tiles get fixed or removed first.
Are they really waterproof enough for a shower? +
Yes, when the right panels are used with proper joint sealing and adhesive in the wet zone. The panel surface is waterproof; the installation details make the system waterproof. That distinction is why professional fitting matters more in a bathroom than in a living room.
Will mold grow on them? +
Mold grows on soap residue and damp surfaces, not on the PVC itself. Because there is no porous grout, panels give mold far less to hold onto than tiles do. Regular wipe-downs plus ventilation keep them clean, with no special anti-mold products needed.
Can I hang shelves or a mirror on them? +
Light items, yes, with the right fixings through the panel into the wall behind. Heavy cabinets should be planned before installation so we can reinforce behind the panels. Mention it at the site visit and we will mark the spots.
How long does a bathroom take? +
Panels over tiles on a typical bathroom usually takes days rather than the weeks a full re-tile needs, because there is no demolition and no grout curing time. We confirm the timeline after seeing your bathroom, since size and condition vary.
Can they be removed later? +
Yes. Panels come off with the wall behind needing repair and refinishing afterward, similar to removing any wall covering. They are far less permanent than tiling, which suits renters and anyone who likes to refresh every few years.

Common questions about PVC bathroom panels
Are PVC panels better than tiles for bathrooms? +
For walls, panels have clear advantages: no grout lines to stain, faster installation and easier cleaning. Tiles remain a solid choice for floors, and the two are often combined.
Can PVC panels be fitted over existing tiles? +
In many cases yes, as long as the existing tiles are flat and firmly fixed. Our team checks this during the free site visit before confirming.
Do PVC panels handle steam and bathroom heat? +
Yes, they are designed for bathroom conditions including steam and humidity. As with any panel product, keep them away from direct flame or extreme heat sources.
Do you serve my area in Abu Dhabi? +
Yes, we offer a free site visit and measurement across Abu Dhabi, including Khalifa City, Al Reem Island, Yas Island, Saadiyat Island, Al Khalidiyah, Mohammed Bin Zayed City, Al Reef and Al Ain, and we install across all seven emirates.
